Johnny Yau, Chief Operation Officer, Xinya Media
Johnny Yau has over 30 years of experience in the regional television industry. He started his career in Hong Kong's Television Broadcast Limited (TVB) where he developed the business in several areas from production, to advertising sales and marketing, to international business development.
In 2000, Johnny was appointed General Manager of TVB Satellite Broadcasting, where he was in charge of the operations, programming and advertising sales of 4 TVB worldwide satellite channels. With his leadership, the regional sales department achieved more than HK$100 million in sales over 2 years.
Johnny also took on the role of project consultant to ASTRO during the first 2 years of ASTRO's operations in Malaysia and carry out a transfer management to build up the Astro Chinese channels for 6 year (1996 to 2001). He started the Advertising Sales Department there, laying the foundation for effective airtime sales and customer engagement. In 2002, Johnny started his own company Media Plus, which handled regional TV channel distribution, program syndication, and advertising management for Asia Plus Broadcasting Limited, JETTV, Asia Travel Channel, CTI International Channel, Taiwan International TV Channel, and Golden Throne Cable TV Platform.
Johnny is now Chief Operation Officer of Xinya Media. |

Pearl Forss, VP, Corporate Social Responsibility, Xinya International
Pearl started her career in the media sector at Channel NewsAsia as a reporter and returning scholar in 2004. During her stint, she received the MediaCorp Best News Story Award twice. Her report on cyber bullying was also the first news story at Channel NewsAsia to be nominated for the 48th Monte Carlo television festival competition under the Best TV news item category.

In 2007, she received the prestigious Chevening Award from the British Council to pursue her masters in Media & Communications at Goldsmiths College, London, where she graduated with distinction.
For her community involvement in Singapore, she was also presented with the National University of Singapore Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2009. Pearl is the VP, Corporate Social Responsibility of Xinya International.

Crystal Hui, VP, Special Project, Xinya Media
Crystal graduated from the Shanghai Fu Dan University with a Masters in World Economy. She started off her career in Cheng’s Film and Video Production Limited, playing an active role both on-screen and behind the scenes. She was involved in the production of the first Sino-US co-produced 22-episode Tele-movie “Flatland”. Besides playing a major role in the telemovie, she was also the representative of the investors at the pre-planning stage of this RMB3.6 billion telemovie starring famous US actors such as Dennis Hopper.

| For the past 12 years, Crystal has been managing media related businesses in both Hong Kong and China. She also spent 7 years working for a listed company in Hong Kong that invests in both properties and media businesses. Crystal was also Executive director and General Manager for the 4-star Long Bai Hotel in Shanghai, China. Crystal is the VP, Special Project of Xinya Media. |
